Disablility
Access Auditing
We
understand the confusion and complications that can arise when
new legislation is brought in. That's why we have taken it upon
ourselves to make life a little easier.
The
Disability Discrimination Act 1995 and the amendments
introduced in 2004 states that service
providers to the general public must ensure that their
premises have adequate access for the disabled person. This
may mean that an access ramp will have to be fitted, door ways
widened or the provisions of suitable handrails in various locations around the
premises.
If
when trying to assess what changes may be needed to comply
with new legislation you need help, this is when we can advise
you about your possible obligations.
We
offer a range of assessments allowing you to decide which one
suits your company best. Our assessments fulfill the criteria
required to bring your organisation in-line with current
legislation. We assess all areas of importance around a site
and our report will provide you with clear concise information
that leaves no place for ambiguity.
